Ford Gt Crash!!! The Car Is An Amazing Testament To Engineering!

You walked away and that's all that matters. You can replace the car and I'm sure you will but you can't replace you or your buddy. The authorities must have been like holy sh__, is that a GT when they got to the scene. You should get those CSI guys to help you with your lawsuit. I bet you...

New England, New York and Jersey

Kayvan, I'm in CT and my dealer is 10 minutes from my house. The way I understand it is that all dealers have to have at least one trained SVT tech. Don't be mislead by that though, my guy was GT trained and he caved in the pan when putting my car on the lift. It is beyond me why Ford does not...

Looking for GT, have a few questions

Not bad Tim, pay 5 to 7 percent under (although used ones are going for window), pay cash because you can and not get whacked with interest like some of us chumps!!! Man I wish I was you... crazy4cars, don't go anywhere near leasing this car, you'll get totally waxed by anyone who is floating...

Keep it coming guys, get the word out to all your GT buds. We can have the largest east coast gathering of GT's to date. Once a date and time is scheduled I will coincide the meeting with a lunch or dinner based on everyone's preference. Any ideas are welcome so feel free to make suggestions...Dan

    Future GT Value.. A classic?

Bony don't forget those silly people are part of this forum and we all know the earliest silly people paid silly money for the car. People who have unlimited resources are still part of the market so whether they pay silly money just because they can it is still part of the real market. If ten...

    Future GT Value.. A classic?

It is and always will be worth what someone is willing to pay! Taking into account the heritage this particular vehicle possesses and the obvious fact that very soon a new GT will cease to exist the market can and probably will flatten out within 24 months and then sloooowwwlllyyy start to rise...

New England, New York and Jersey

That's great, it might be the only one with that set up at our rally GFORCE! I'm hoping to get at least 25 cars at the gathering so if you know anyone who might be interested please give them a heads up. I will re-post this thread in April but would welcome any pm's now so I could start...

Hello northeasterners. How lucky have we been to be still driving our cars into mid January w/out any salt or sand on the roads. Anyway here is the reason for my post. On the weekend of January 26-28th my GT (and my Viper) will be in the Frank Marotta auto show in Hartford, CT. The website...

Interesting Post Over on Club Cobra

You are right on, but their is a reason for the tightness. The SPF GT40 is an original spec car. That means four inches shorter and 18 inches shorter in length. That's a lot of space to give up and needless to say it translates into a claustrophobic cabin. The guys that ran those cars back in...

How Many Viper Coupe FE Owners are there?

Same as my VOI car! Prefix does all the striping for the Vipers. Ron is a real nice guy. I wish though that they had cleared the whole car after the striping was done. I hate that little lip edge between the stripes and paint. My GT is the same friggin way...Dan

How Many Viper Coupe FE Owners are there?

That car must be smoking with the black chrome and red emblems. Are those factory stripes or did you have them done? I don't think I've ever seen a Viper accented the way yours is, congrats man on a super sweet ride.:thumbsup

    White with Orange Stripe

Well said Steve:thumbsup, the best color scheme ever on a Camaro! I believe it was the Indy pace car that got that color scheme. And Lambo, did you order your splitter and wing yet for your Viper? That combo must look hot on a Viper! Were the stripes factory or did you have them done? BD40

[UK] Ford GT or F430 F1

Neilda, you always speak so eloquently and precise! I don't know and have no desire to know diddly about a Ferrari but everything you said makes perfect sense as do some of the other responses to this thread. I have one question though, if you and Jonny meet up for a beer in Surrey, why will you...

    Superformance Daytona Coupe

Steve, I also own a SPF Cobra with a 427R Roush motor and the build quality, fit and finish etc. are excellent. I've driven the coupe and as nice as it is to look at I found it very uncomfortable. I'm 6'1" and 245 so this might have something to do with my discomfort. I have wide shoulders and I...

How Many Viper Coupe FE Owners are there?

Thanks Lambo!!! Actually pictures don't show the detail of this car. The paint is so deep you can see the cracks in your teeth from 30 feet away...:biggrin Had I known I was going to sell it I would have kept the Comp Coupe!!! P.S. The Hemi is crank rated at 610 HP and 650 ft. lbs. The wheel...

How Many Viper Coupe FE Owners are there?

Roc, Super sweet!!! Unlike the GT, the Viper looks just as good w/o stripes as it does with. Their is a seat lowering kit that I think partsrack offers. I'm sure you know this but I'll mention it anyway, the pedals are electrically adjustable (the little knob in the middle of the dash at the...
