Nothing new. This type of scam has been running for many years. First it was wire the money to an escrow company (that the scammer set up with a web site, etc). Then the new ones got lazy and started doing this eBay Motors account scam.
Here's the newest one I received in my email spam box...
If wrinkles are not big a deal, you can pack the clothes in thicker plastic bags and suck to air out of the bags with a vacuum. I think there was an infomercial for a product like this. Never tried it.

They put LS series engines in almost anything. Seen them in BWM Z3's or Z4's (cannot remember), RX-7's, Fiero's, and others I cannot remember at the moment all the others.

No. Today's cars components are produced to be compatible with the ethanol blend fuels. In the older (I think pre 1980) vehicles (motorcycles included) some elastomer lines were not compatible and caused problems. Also, carburetors had non compatible components (neoprene) have problems too...

I thought it was a 5.4L and the hp at the wheels was around 400. the Ford quoted hp at the crank was much lower than what it really was.
