I've flown fixed wing stuff forever, but thought I'd give whirly birds a try. You can fly them from your front yard and they fit nicely in the garage. Fun stuff indeed. And picking a color isn't too hard either. Anybody else out there play with these things?

Lot's of good stuff here.... I'm just going to +1 the lot of it. It's a good start on their part, but the job isn't done.

It's hard to let one go, but it looks like it will have fun with it's new owners. I guess if you weren't driving it much, it's liberating to let something go, particularly if the new owners are cool.

+1, if you are just hearing the initial 'ticks' from the SC it's unlikely that it has progressed to passing much material below. The intercooler vanes in fact stop a lot of it from passing to the engine. I've done a couple and I doubt you will see much. SC can be replaced in an hour without a...

Depends a bit on the MSRP they apply to it I guess. If they price it like a Ferrari that's one thing, but if it's priced more Corvette style, well then that maybe another thing.

What did you do with you car?

OEM lines are great. But as with any hose product replacing after 10yrs or so would be a good idea.
