That's what a quality clear bra is for, which is far better than changing the aerodynamics of the car.

    First Modification

Don't really like the idea. It's not like adding mesh to an engine cover or radiator vent. That hole is an important part of the cars aerodynamics. 0.02

    Titanium Exhaust

I think it is available on the Heritage. I do like the tips much better than the standard exhaust. For $10K you can have a pretty nice titanium exhaust fabbed up and have money left over for beer.

    A Special Machine

Where is it officially called a "zero-keel" by Ford/Multimatic? I'd like to understand their definition of zero-keel. Heck, every road car has a "zero-keel" suspension since no road car has a Keel and the suspension mounts to the chassis, not a distended structure to retain proper suspension...

    A Special Machine

Current F1 cars (as pictured) pretty much throw mechanical grip and suspension soon geometry out of the window in favor of optimizing aerodynamic downforce. Not too long ago, F1 cars use to have suspension-mounted keels where the lower control arms mounted to the lower part of the keel itself...

    A Special Machine

It's a huge investment in overhead and manufacturing. It's not as easy as just choosing to use carbon instead of aluminum.

^no, but the GT has the same FIA-spec upper cage and rollover protection that's in the LeMans winning racecar, and that's pretty cool in its own right

Not really. I don't think the carbon pillars are molded into the tub or are structural. The FIA-spec rollcage provides the rollover protection and strength. I think the roof and a pillars are just body skins..

That was a quote from Raj. So your math is pretty spot on.

AB: "When pressed, Nair said the "race car dry" (filled with all fluids and ready to drive but without fuel) weight of the GT is 3,173 pounds. This figure is used to eliminate different fuel tank capacities when comparing weights." 3,173 + 93 = 3,266lbs wet.

    Interior

Gonna be tight. Might need to modify the lower seat cushion. Hopefully they come up with a "track lower cushion" that's very thin padding to get helmet clearance. If the racing drivers can fit with a helmet with the race seats basically being on the floor/tub of the car, I'd imagine there will...
