More power to be pulled from the little engine that could?

Probably everything. Valve covers, intake manifold, throttle body, dry sump, headers, turbos, turbo position, wastegate, exhaust layout are visible differences.

Faster At Le Mans: Race Car or Street Car?

GT2RS vs GT3 Cup: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GsPfnbk0DtQ GT2RS is faster than a Ford GT street car. Ford GT racecar is faster than GT3 Cup GT3 Cup is a lot faster than GT2 RS --> Ford GT race car is a lot faster than Ford GT street car.

    EVO video comparison test

I didn't think a 285 front tire would fit on a Ford GT? (Not all Cup2s are made the same)

    EVO video comparison test

I read that the GTR uses the same super-sticky Cup2s as the Corvette Z06 (I just looked it up and they are in fact the same size). I'm not sure what the "R" Cup 2 is on the GT2RS but it seems like Ford's Cup2 is run of the mill.

    800 -1000 hp rods hmmmm

I would rather have H-beam Carrillo rods. Or an Aluminum set.

    GT at the ring ??

The GT already has Sport Cup2 tires.

    GT vs ZR1

Really? Wasn't that the main advantage of the whole car? (lemans - mulsanne straight).

    GT vs ZR1

Drag is a hell of a thing. The Viper ACR-X is a turd in a straight line too. More downforce = more drag. It also has a higher HP/L than the McLaren 720 or the GT2 RS.

    GT vs ZR1

ZR1 is modified. Probably has 20hp+ over stock.

A Ford GT, a pair of turbos and a lot of titanium.....

I'm Aire, when the hood/clamshell is open and it gets to gulp in ambient air. But in reality, with a closed hood/clamshell, open element filters suck in hot engine bay heat and make less power on the road.

A Ford GT, a pair of turbos and a lot of titanium.....

My comment was in regards to slip joints leaking for turbo applications. I have not looked into the testing of headers on that engine, but i'd be surprised if you couldn't get at least 5-10hp gain from a properly designed set.

A Ford GT, a pair of turbos and a lot of titanium.....

Try Burns Stainless double-slip joints. They don't leak and it's what a lot of top drag and road race teams use with turbos. Given the amount of Ti intake plumbing, you'd save POUNDS, not "ounces" going to Al. I get the theme reasoning though. I'm glad to see you keep the stock airbox and not...

A Ford GT, a pair of turbos and a lot of titanium.....

Impressive. But aluminum would be lighter for the intake work.

    2019 Lightweight Series

The carbon stripes will look cool. I still like the competiton's design the most. I just think "lightweight" is a poor name choice for that package, and I'd like to see an actual "lightweight" variant. Maybe more track focused with a wing and splitter like a Senna, or hell, even a ZR1.

    2019 Lightweight Series

As far as the stripe, A- pillars, and mirror caps - all GTs have these components in carbon. Clear coat likely weighs similar to paint, so exposed carbon does not mean they are lighter because they're carbon, since they're all carbon. I don't see what's "lightweight".

Which fabrics and fasteners are lighter?

    2019 Lightweight Series

Competition was lighter because of the lack of AC and radio. Since this has AC & radio, what exactly makes it "lightweight"?
