Yeah, I guess that makes sense. Kind of a shame though that this car has gotten as heavy as the GT500. I was hoping it would stay at or below 3.5K lbs. Thanks for the info.

Whoa, I thought the 2011 Mustang GTs were going to stay around 3,500 lbs even with the new 5.0 (which weighs the same as the 4.6 from what I have read). Did Shelby add 400 lbs to this car?

I've seen these in person on my buddy's GT500 and they are much nicer in person than the pictures show. Definitely a worthwhile upgrade for someone looking for that little extra bling under the hood..

I would think that drive train, engine parts, etc will be easy to come by for a long time considering the aftermarket following. I would be worried about body parts, those might be harder to come by. Of course, I don't own a Viper so I am taking an educated guess.

I saw on another forum where someone got a ride in one the other day. I don't know if that means they actually hit the showroom yet though. I just came from one of the local Ford dealerships here in VA Beach and they said that they won't be seeing any until later this year, whatever that means.
