    Frunk Rubbing Against Bumper

If you pull the frunk liner, there are torx screws across the bottom of the radiator cover. You could see if loosening those buys you anything. The radiator cover side mounting as well as the frunk hinges have screws thru the fender aprons, and require wheel liner removal and maybe headlight...

    Side stickers set in silver.

I pulled these part numbers from a source that has been pretty reliable, but would always verify with Ford when ordering. G7 is GT product line, while Mustang is R3 product line. Good luck in your search.

    Wrecked GT Copart

I only monitor the salvage auctions, and not a buyer. I can see there being a lots of value in the good parts this car has left, as some are obsolete or have gotten very expensive from Ford. Some nice aftermarket parts as well.

    anodize parts

I reviewed a bunch of old threads on this topic, and some colors were easy to match via powder coat(black), but seems other colors were hard to get a acceptable color match and were painted.

    Wrecked GT Copart

Lots of firewall/frame damage. Fresh air intake, behind hood latch is crushed, and dash appears to be pushed back on passenger side. I think it will need a new frame or be a parts car. Always amazed at what the wrecks sell for these days.

    Pulley question

Most non-OEM pulleys are in the 2.7/2.8” range. Stock is 3.25” I believe.

    Steering wheel trim

I believe the part number is YS4Z-3530-BBA Shroud Assembly - Steering Column. See mixed info on availability, and may cross over to other more common cars. Have you tried Ford yet?

Fair price for ‘06 GT with incident?

Most of the repair expense was the clamshell replacement(over half), so clamshells still pretty pricy back in 2010. Definitely the majority of part replacement/repair was in the back(pretty much everything from rear castings back), but some work up front/side as well. My concern would be if...

Fair price for ‘06 GT with incident?

$75K in repair cost is a lot, and indicates a lot of damage(maybe not easily seen). Parts were not that expensive back in 2010. The bills from the repair should detail what was replaced and labor to arrive at the $75K. I might try and call the shop that did the work, and see if they can...

Front Splitter and Rear Diffuser Needed

5G7Z-17626-AAA is the part number, with a description of “panel”. The list price was $417.59 in November of 2021 when I purchased.

Why is it difficult to get GT parts?

Agreed, a car with all original OEM Ford parts would generally have more value then a car with aftermarket/reproduction parts. The unfortunate fact is some parts are already obsolete, so Ford is not an option.

Why is it difficult to get GT parts?

Many of the 69/70 unique Boss 429 and Boss 302 parts have been reproduced, and those are relatively small markets, so I expect key GT items will be reproduced. I believe some of the body parts are available in carbon fiber replacements already...

Why is it difficult to get GT parts?

The GT specific parts go thru the GT group at Ford, which has to be called in. It pays to find a dealer familiar with the process. I have had parts show in a few days, and others much longer. It does seem to be extra work, on the dealers part, vs normal Ford parts.

2006 Ford GT Windshield Replacement Advice

I had my pitted windshield replaced last year. I removed the front fenders, and brought to a local glass shop that had done at least one prior GT. Really not sure how a good job could be done without removing fenders, and the fenders could easily be damaged, removing the old windshield. I...

    Replacement Boost Gauge

I believe Autometer makes improved "OEM look" small gauges, that are better then the stock Ford replacements. The larger speedometer and tachometer are not available from Autometer IIRC. My understanding is the replacement Ford gauges are the same as the originals. Not sure on your date code...
