I use the exposed section of frame, that aligns roughly with the back of the doors.

I use the red circled lift points to lift a side, and yellow for individual corners. A small lifting puck is essential to avoid marking up the floor pans. I drive the car onto small sections of 2x12, raising it 1.5”, so my jack fits underneath, and makes it easier to see underneath as well.

My VIN is also stamped on the passenger side firewall, behind the splash shield. Also, on the bottom of rear frame, as you have pictured. There are also VIN stickers on the doors and hood, and maybe some other body parts. Good luck.

Yes, the Ford side replacement door stripes include the Ford GT.

On my 24 Mustang we removed fuse 8 in the BCM panel. Note, the fuse is a three prong fuse with two circuits(8/9), so you need to use a two prong fuse for other circuit(9). Did this several months ago without any apparent issues.

It is generally best to go with the fuel/octane in which the tune was intended. A little extra octane will provide some insurance against knock(no knock sensors on our GTs), but will leave a little power on the table.
