I think the problem is at the end of the day, ignoring the problem is the most profitable solution for Ford. The only stink for them comes from this forum. The gauge problem probably hasn't stopped anyone here from buying another Ford product.

I have mine unbolted in southern California, No problems. I like the idea of being able to move it around to allow for different floor space needs.

Oil pressure gauge worked o.k. before? Try another 20 seconds. If all you did was change oil and put new filter in shouldn't be a problem. Did you try to start engine, seems like next logical step. If no oil pressure within a few seconds shut down. After that the next thought is pressure sending...
