I was just curious how many of us that need gauges replaced opted for the Speed Hut option? If not, why not. I did the installation and am happy so far.

Would using a mechanical gauge help, if only used as a diagnostic tool to remove any doubts.

Try to make the car as drivable as possible, drive it for awhile and see if you have deeper problems. This might help you in deciding your baby's future.

Where is the best source of vacuum/boost for the 30 lb. boost gauge. The sources after the T.B. give vacuum but no boost. I see a spare nipple at the fuel pressure regulator, will that supply a boost signal?

Fords better idea, they call it Speedhut.

Why don't they notice gauges and gouging?

I found shaving the spacer ring where they come close to the information bar and directional helps also.

My only concern would be you installed a new oil pump belt. Why did you change it, how long ago, and who changed it. I think just for peace of mind I would take a look and make sure all is well.

I think if the filter isn't installed properly, you wouldn't be able to put the cap on. I install the filter onto the cap and push it until I hear a little snap, then install it into the filter housing.

The gauge is all electronic, they just can't use the stock sensor. You have to use their sensor. The problem is finding a convenient vacuum source and running the new harness to the dash. My thinking was the vacuum to the brakes was the most convenient.

Just got a call from Speedhut, gauges should ship monday, coming with 41/2" speedometer. The 30 lb. boost gauge will use the original harness for power but will use their sender for boost reading. I was thinking about tapping the power brake vacuum hose for the sender since it is closer to the...

Do any of you that own both work on your own cars? Can you work on the Ferrari or is it impractical?

Flashing cel came back, turned steady yellow and finally showed code P0304. Swapped coil 3 and 4 will see if I get a P0303. Anyone have a recomendation for a good replacement coil?
