Chip knows his stuff in the industry. A lot of ink has been spilled on price gouging, large portions of it are complete BS. If prices were not allowed to rise and fall with demand, we'd see severe shortages lasting weeks if not months when changes to the market are applied. Price fluctuations...

I've been following the auction on BAT. Neat little car, but it looks to have the "show car hurry up and get it done" paint package. VIN decoder says it was originally a white example.

A quick question for those in the know. What is the status on the 5 or so cars used during the Utah media events? Are they part of the 250 allocated for this model year? Are they pre-production units and not available for public sale? Will they be kept by Ford? Auctioned for charity?

Replied. Just to make sure, I have original brochures of these from FoMoCO. They are not the reprints that Not 4N is producing (just don't want to mislead anyone). Mine are whatever the original size was at the time of printing.

I've got one of each of these (original from Ford) if anyone is interested. I'm not sure what they are worth. Heritage and Tungsten ones are mint, the red one is in in good condition, it was hung up on a wall for awhile.

I know I still go nuts whenever I see one in the wild. To me, 05-06 GT's just refuse to age. It's a truly timeless design just like the first gen NSX. Even with the new GT coming (and the NSX too), the 05-06 GT is still a design to be admired.

As a Minnesota driver as well, I can attest that the land of 10,000 lakes only has about 10,000 decent drivers. This is especially true in the Twin Cities region.

I don't know if it's just the lighting or what, but the first 3 pictures don't even look like a real car. Incredible! Each new color just adds to the excitement.
