I've always been told that running the pump under no load (dry) hurts the life of the pump as there is no lubricating fluid in it. Running it to just drain but not under no load would likely be fine.

Last I heard they were over $4k per wheel. Check with Rich & Denis at the GT Guy.

I don't think anyone really knows for sure...they really are the same car with a few minor differences (gauges, bumpers, etc.) to satisfy the Canadian regulations at the time.
