If properly repaired, why should it be any different? Cars were damaged at the factory during assembly, and replacement parts put on - what difference does it make when the replacement was installed, as long as it was done properly. And to have done properly, go to the GT Guy!!

There is a WEC regulation for car clearance, where a wood block is under each car, and cannot be scraped by any forces. Each car is tested for this regulation and cannot race until this is met. I would assume this would prevent any diffuser clearance issues.
