    GT in the UK

I have a friend who is very interested in buying a GT, but he'll be living in the UK at the end of the year. Can he buy one in the US and have it shipped? Assuming that's possible, with homologation and everything... The info I got was that 101 cars would go to Europe, with 28 to the UK. I...

Dealer is full of spit! Don Kott Ford in Carson, CA

The guys at Pacific Ford in Long Beach were cool. Let me know if you want to talk to them, I bought mine there. They'll probably get some more.

I have one of those yellow/blacks sitting on a shelf in my office. It is asking for a sister to talk to during those lonely nights.

Excellent production quality! And informative as well. Thanks ENZO BTR.

I personally don't see the subwoofer tightening the interior space. Maybe because I'm not too tall (just under 6"), but my seat ends up being flush with the sub, so I don't feel cramped. And I like the creative placement of that sub, it feels like an extension of the engine. ;)

A Decent Price for a GT

Doh, I'll look at the door. :-) As for the special number to call, no I never got that number when I bought my car. Was the dealer supposed to give it to me?

A Decent Price for a GT

Which reminds me: where can I find when my car was built exactly? Is there some way to get the building history of a GT through its VIN? Thx

    Real Specs

I personally didn't really care about the performance of the GT. At these power levels, it's mostly about the pilot's expertise. The car looks so much better, has so much more originality and soul than anything else out there, it could have had 500 HP at the flywheel and I'd have been happy. How...

A Decent Price for a GT

Yes, prices will soon end up at MSRP. Now Ford seems to have raised MSRP by $10k lately, so will that mean that MSRP for a fully loaded car will be somewhere around $160k? We're close to it now.

    The Vs. Thread

Not only that, but it seems that the production GT is electronically limited to 205. Bummer. ;-) Here's a url: http://www.fordforums.com/showthread.php?t=81689

    The Vs. Thread

True manual shifting is fun, and I love it on the GT since after all, it's the last great car without all the newfangled tech assist stuff. But when I drive my wife's BMW M3 with paddles on the track it's truly awesome (except for downshifting being a tad too slow). I guarantee you that paddles...

    floor mats

I agree with Chris. Black is the way to go. An embossed "Ford GT" logo on the side would be nice, but certainly not necessary.

    floor mats

I'm certainly very interested in quality floor mats. And since all the GT interiors are black, one size will fit all :-) I'm sure many of us will order a set or 2.
