I personally don't see the subwoofer tightening the interior space. Maybe because I'm not too tall (just under 6"), but my seat ends up being flush with the sub, so I don't feel cramped. And I like the creative placement of that sub, it feels like an extension of the engine. ;)

Doh, I'll look at the door. :-) As for the special number to call, no I never got that number when I bought my car. Was the dealer supposed to give it to me?

Which reminds me: where can I find when my car was built exactly? Is there some way to get the building history of a GT through its VIN? Thx

I personally didn't really care about the performance of the GT. At these power levels, it's mostly about the pilot's expertise. The car looks so much better, has so much more originality and soul than anything else out there, it could have had 500 HP at the flywheel and I'd have been happy. How...

Yes, prices will soon end up at MSRP. Now Ford seems to have raised MSRP by $10k lately, so will that mean that MSRP for a fully loaded car will be somewhere around $160k? We're close to it now.

True manual shifting is fun, and I love it on the GT since after all, it's the last great car without all the newfangled tech assist stuff. But when I drive my wife's BMW M3 with paddles on the track it's truly awesome (except for downshifting being a tad too slow). I guarantee you that paddles...

I agree with Chris. Black is the way to go. An embossed "Ford GT" logo on the side would be nice, but certainly not necessary.

I'm certainly very interested in quality floor mats. And since all the GT interiors are black, one size will fit all :-) I'm sure many of us will order a set or 2.
