These numbers seemed a little high to me so I googled the info. Spot on, the dragster produces 8,000 hp, more than the first 4 rows at indy. I thought my car was quick, at least we can all beat a dragster in a two mile race.

What are some actual top speeds for a stock FGT? I have seen 205mph posted, but I don't know where it came from. How about a modified GT?

I saw the show on Shelby's new cobra (2005 Detroit show) this morning on the Discovery Channel. They introduced it along side of the mustang and GT. Beautiful car. Ford is in need of a new Halo car.
