I love the car, I think that this is what the Original GT would have looked like if it were designed today, I agree it is not as retro, but it is intended to be a race car and compete with todays car.. very nice, lets hope they make enough so we could actually buy one.
I torque mine before each track day,,, it's on my list so I just do it... had to buy a quality "Snap On" wrench as the cheapo Harbor Freight one broke ..
it was my car,,,, man the people on woodward love the Ford GT's,,, all I heard was look a Ford GT and it seemed everybody took pics..
was nice just hanging with the car,,,, as John Shoffner says "it is a ROCK Star"

Dave the event went good like 25-30 cars each day, they were new at running things but I thought they did a good job, the only downside is they can't get the runway till afternoon so it is so hot. but they tried real hard.
ran a Mile event, took off the wing added 4-5 mph, then took off the splitter added 4-5 more MPH very hot 90+ on the tarmac was kind of disappointed with the performance of the GT 182mph on my GPS.. never launched real hard as I did not want the break anything made about 7 passes
I too order a set of shock from Scott, they arrived as planned and he drove 6 hours to help with the install, installing on my car takes about 20 min per shock, or faster if I wanted.. Just un bolt then re-bolt. After install drove car to settle (two people in car) checked ride height - adjust...
