LOL, my guess is most of us have stories like that. I've been told more than once that I should wait for the owner to return and ask permission to touch my '05. Probably only going to get worse with the '18.....really might have to buy new shoes....
Thanks guys! I continue to believe that owning these incredible cars is only part of the story, the people I've met and friendships made continue to bring me an unmeasurable joy.
I've been in Lake Havasu for a few weeks and a few good reasons to head over to So Cal came up, one being a chance to stop by Dan's AAR and express my condolences in person.

Agree. The last couple of years I've made it to Colorado to watch the Pikes Peak Race where electric cars and motorcycles blistered the course and set records. Did absolutely nothing for me as they swished by with the only sound...

When Floridaho Chris purchased his early '05 he still had a very nice F430 parked next to it. He has told me more than once that the very same people (in Florida) who sneered with contempt and would give him the finger when driving the 430 loved his US built Ford '05 GT. Up here in Idaho neither...
