Try replacing the BT Junior with a CTEK. The Junior is a low current model for motorcycle batteries. I've had no luck with Battery Tender, and never a problem with CTEK.

I had my windshield replaced by the GT Guy and I was concerned that a new one couldn't be found. Rich said he has a source that makes them on demand, if I remember correctly. The windshield may be easier to source than the headlight.

I got a painful paper cut yesterday.

I will no longer trust a pillow, blankets or any covering on the fender. Employ a friend and don't use the fender for any leverage. Despite protection I dented mine (now fixed) and will not risk it again.
