Can you speak to the issues of the Outer U.V. protecting clear coat and the inner anti-fog coatings mentioned above? I have restored a few original lenses now and have been using catalyzed clear coat on the outside. Nothing on the inside....because I don't have anything for that.

Taking them apart and putting them back together is fairly easy. Polishing the outside is also easy. Polishing the inside with a D/A orbital is a challenge. If the DRL's are causing the haze, I assume it is from heat. That may be difficult to polish out.
