    Dave, Where did you get your belt, and how much different in length is it from stock? I have heard mixed stories about replacing the belt versus not. I have heard from some sources that the current tensioners on the car will take up the additional slack.

    The 2.8" pulley adds approximately 3 psi to the supercharger. This is an increase of 25% over stock. I don't think the car would run properly without a tune. Adjustments need to be made to the A/F mixture, as well as spark timing in order to deal with the additional air flow. Without a tune...

    Stock pulley is 3.25" (I think), and a re-tune is necessary when installing the smaller pulley.

    Strange that they would use a stock Z06. Seems kind of unfair to the Vette to put it up against tuner cars. And there's no shortage of tuner solutions for the Z06, that's for sure. Thumbs down to Motor Trend for doing this.

    Ken, does anything need to be done to take up the belt slack? Shorter belt? Installation of a new tensioner pulley? I would be concerned that a smaller SC pulley would loosen the belt just enough to potentially cause some slippage. Can you comment on this please? Thanks.

    I owned a Murci for 2 years, and I find the GT to handle far better than the Murcielago. The Murci has a sluggish turn-in, HEAVY steering, and not nimble at all (the Murci is a big bulky car). I sold the Murci in favor of the Gallardo just strictly based on the handling and agility advantage...

    My car also has this, as does my friends car. I think the sound is inherent in all the transmissions. Not sure what it is, though.

    Hey guys, just wondering if everyone can share info on what suppliers are selling pulley mods for the GT. I'd like to consider doing this to my car, and want to research what is available. Is Kenne Bell the best way to go, or should I be considering something else? Thanks.
