Welcome and congrats. The FGT will make your previous Porsches look silly! I have had everything from the 930 (89 G50 equipped), to the 964 Turbo S, 993 TT and 996 TT, none of them even come close to the FGT. ENJOY!

I wish I could have attended. The GT40 has been bouncing from dealer to dealer for the last two years, decent car but slightly unrealistically priced...

Considering the magnitude of the failure, I would have shipped the car back to the U.S. and had ford pay for a new motor.

DAMN! Thats incredible! The FGT should have come with that from the factory.

Thats the first run down here that was riddled with problems. The driver of the murci apparently wrecked it while doing a burnout for the cameras and the owner of the yellow gallardo whose motor got toasted, thats a whole other story. I was going to go but the weather looked bad on saturday.

Details, details, details. Finishing it up is no problem, I think I found this builders last effort... :biggrin:lol

I don't agree here shelby. The entire car needed to be repainted after the repair so the cost of a color change at that point would not have been significant, plus once its a got a branded title the resale is in the shitter anyway. Regardless, THANKS to the member who posted those "before"...

OK, my friend paid $119 for the car and gave me an interesting bit of information. The car was hit on the left rear, had the bumper, left rear a-arms, 1/4 panel and scoop replaced. So much for coconut damage!

If he's going to drive through S. Florida on his way back (assuming he's driving the car back) can't we get some sort of meet for the S. Florida folks? For those not in the know, what happened to his white car?

No one knows anything about this car?

This particular car was wrecked at 2093 miles back in August '06, it was hit up front but still ran. It came from the houston area.

The rate these cars are being wrecked is alarming. I have recorded seven just from the past 45 days that have been totaled including one TT. Please be safe guys!

I'll find out what the guy who offered it to me paid for it, I'm sure he didn't pay more than $110.
