See if Ford makes a rear main set that includes the sleeve, if you go that route. The sleeve makes it better than new, SS is better than just steel, but it does stretch a normal seal out further than intended which I've seen cause problems. I install a lot of seal kits that come with the sleeve...

Some early GT's leaked out the rear main engine seal. Could a slave leak, yes, but never heard of it. I'd flush the heck out of it and maybe you get lucky and it stops leaking, long shot though. I tried getting seals for a clutch master cylinder from the manufacturer but they couldn't help. I...

Probably just P/S fluid blowing around. Replace the P/S hose and clean it up. Wipe it down again in 20 years.

The bolt is a carriage style. Because of the location it's definitely nice that it is. A new neg cable from Ford is $35 and comes with the bolt if you want to keep it all Ford. You could put the bolt on the pos side if needed there and have a spare cable for dust collection.
