That ain't nothing. I ordered a 2017 GT350R on 6-15-16 and still am on "unscheduled material hold". Ford Performance can't tell me anything, the dealership says the order is supposedly "locked" in. Very frustrating.

That price is not out of line for the mileage it has on it. I would give a rough estimate that a 10,000 mile car would price around $250,000 right now. Maybe a 20,000 mile could be had for $225,000. These are my "guesstimates" from going to auctions and viewing auction results the last 5 years...

Cash burn in 2015 was $2.2 billion and for the first half of 2016 it was $611 million. Large cap-ex for the new model and to cover costs of the new battery factory are a problem. Always over promises on production schedules and under delivers. Capital will definitely need to be raised again shortly.

Tesla has become a "cult" stock amongst the believers. They are also in a cash burn mode. I don't see how combining Tesla with Solar City is a plus. Tesla is just trying to prop up Solar City at Tesla's expense. They will be needing to raise new capital again in the not too distant future...

I have seen a couple of different sources quoting different production numbers. One source said they were producing 209 units, with Ferrari retaining 9 units for shows and promotional activities. Another source states production of only 150 units.

I have used the search function to no avail. I'm trying to locate a very detailed post from back in 2005 from Amer Speed regarding the proper step by step, 21 step process to change the oil. I believe it came out of the service manual. Any help would be greatly appreciated. RickH
