Got mine back Saturday and had it installed in ten minutes, looks great! I will warn you that the little plastic covers on the steering column are quite fragile, one had its clips broken so I had to rig a way for it to stay with some putty holding it in...

Had periodic gauge failures with original battery, went away with Diehard replacement of the oem Optima, no problems for past year since replacement.

Why own it if you don't drive it....I'm at 14k, just as tight as the day I bought it.

Still...my car still worth what I payed for it 4 years ago, not bad considering my other choice was a 911 Turbo that has lost 40% of its' value. And the 911 has faired much better than the Ferrari 360.

I too would probably have a GTR along with my GT, but I can't afford it. I do however drive a 370-Z Sport to work. It handles great, is comfortable, has good performance and cost half what a GTR cost. Of course it only goes 0-60 in 4.7 seconds...not 2.9...

Pity...wonder how much the parts are worth though..

Don't know, but cars sitting uncranked for five years not driven I think will start to have issues.

As above, keep it original color, keep everything as original as possible if you have any hopes of getting a profit out of it later, even as a salvage car. Also, keep those photos.....

I'm now hoping for a miraculous recovery of my dead gauges with the installation of the new power cell....although I'm not holding my breath. Mardyn My gauges were only periodically not working before the new battery. Good luck

I got my Diehard a couple of days ago. Since I didn't have a ratchet to fit the holder plate, I asked if they would put the battery in, but the head of the Automotive Dept refused saying they were afraid of screwing up the cars computer. She got a lot more cooperative though after I let her...
