There used to be 4 in my small town, now I have the only one left.
My factory Ford mechanic in Mobile says I have the only one left in the south Mississippi-Alabama region, or at least he doesn't see any others any more.
Porsche recently decided to keep the Metzger based 4.0 in the Cup cars...no explanation was given but my factory trained Porsche mechanic friend doesn't trust the new engine yet either..he says it isn't proven in race conditions.
However, It's my favorite car at Geneva, esp if the engine proves...

Yes very true, but it's still nuts. I guess my point was that regular and even premium cars prices reflect inflation but that at the high end they are charging many multiples of that.
I've been astounded by the prices of the new hypercars, the 918 Porsche, the McLaren P1, the recently unveiled Ferrari LaFerrari and the Lamborghini Veneno, so I did this little exercise:
