Don't mean to sound like sour grapes but it's hard to drum up sympathy for those with NFGT's looking to sell at 2X the purchase price. Great investment and I sure wish I had one... Maybe someday IF prices come down appreciably. In the meanwhile, I'll drive and enjoy my 05.

I'm thinking my car is cursed... Speedhut speedometer died years ago (2010) and I replaced the Speedhut's with a full set of the replacement Autometer gauges, stock speedometer and tach. This last weekend on a trip to a car show in Liberal KS, the vacuum gauge started reading close to 30 inch...

You lucky son-of-a-gun... We've been told - for years, on and off this Forum - ALL were allocated and that no option existed to get one if you weren't selected in one of the two lottery's. I must have sent 50 e-mails to Ford over the years asking if new / unused allocation might become...

Very sad news. We helped sponsor their car in the 2011 LeMans podium effort and had the great pleasure of meeting Andrea and David when they hosted many of us for the last Ford GT race in Atlanta. Our deepest sympathies to Andrea and the family. May David rest forever in peace.

I had the Speedhuts in a car I purchased. Did not like how the fascia had to be user-modified to fit. And I had their speedometer go bad. I went back to stock.

I'm cheating a little... It's a 460 Motorsport block and stroker, 544CID w/Kasse heads. Kasse single plane manifold and Holley port injection kit arrives Wednesday.

My project is a 69 Royal Maroon Boss 429 convertible - so close but not the real thing. Like you, not willing to pony up that kind of money for an original. I did not know of Perkins so I found their website and sent a note. We'll see what happens. Thanks again. Joe
