Yellow check engine light on - running rough. Ideas?

Thanks all. Runs fine at idle/approaching lights... I'll plug her in later and see if that sheds any light.

Yellow check engine light on - running rough. Ideas?

'Bout sums it up. Stumbled a couple times driving yesterday, then light came on. Would run ok for a bit, then stumble again. Turned off engine, then re-started. Light stayed on (unlike my BMW's that seem to self clear). I know it could be a number of things, but your experience...

PeakCompletions Matte Black FGT For Sale

Looks amazing. I'm glad I just paid for a house remodel or I might have been tempted to do something impulsive.

can't beleive my whipple 3.4 feels slow

Speed is relative of course, but unless you've been spending a lot of time in TT Gallardo's or TT GT-R's, I can't imagine (including bikes) what makes 7XX at the wheels feel 'slow'.

    Which radar detector?

^^ this. Laser 'beam' is just 3' across at 1000'. If they hit your plate, there is a good chance that you won't know about it. Even if you do, it's too late.. by the time your detector goes off, the cop has his reading. -- Check local laws concerning ownership/use of laser and/or radar...

Any experience with bendpak LR-60 scissor lift?

No direct experience with this lift (I have BP's scissor lift), but, and you may already know this, the LR-60 must be bolted down. If you want the portable one, spec out the LR-60P

    Garage cabinet suggestion

White paint. That was a glamour shot taken by a photographer friend of mine. It was that clean for about 10 minutes before we moved in any parts/cars/lifts - but thanks (I think). It's seen plenty of action in the last 2+ years - eg 500 hours of labor on my Factory Five kit.

    Four post Lift

Yes, but no need to at the shop.. 18' high ceiling - plenty to allow clearance for the bottom car :) I also like the built in chock that they provide when 'down'. Thanks.

    Four post Lift

I have a Bendpak HD-9XW (extra long, wide version, extra high). 82" clearance. (not all the way up in pic)

Ying/Yang - Ford GT and UGR TT Gallardo

Agree re the safety equipment. We aren't likely to agree on what 'purpose built' means. When there is one of one car built for an event type/distance (or not), IMO it is purpose built. Matters not if you 'can' drive it on the street. If UGR (or Jason) built a 2000hp 'mile centric' Gallardo...

Ying/Yang - Ford GT and UGR TT Gallardo

'soap operas for men'.. LOL. Yes. Jason's shop may build them differently, but my 2nd hand info re the UGR Gallardo's is that the engine is built on the stage 2 (+/- 1100whp on C16), stage 3 (1250whp on C16) and more-built on their R+ (1500+whp) packages. The bolt on kit makes 850whp on...
