    Rotary or Bendpak?

HD-9 is a good choice.. I have an HD-9 at home and an HD-9XW (extra tall and long - same width as HD-9) at the shop. IMO, Bendpak is the best value in the higher end consumer lifts. Reasons I chose Bendpak: excellent customer service, lifts are certified, air safety locks, adjustable width...

2013 Viper Smacked by 4 year old ZR1

http://forums.viperclub.org/threads/659679-Monday-we-find-out-who-is-faster-at-Laguna-Seca-ZR1-or-Gen-V/page12 I'm not a Viper guy, but it's amazing to me to see 'loyalists' jump ship over a 2 second lap deficiency Get some perspective already. A glimpse of rational thought seeps through...

So What Other Cars Did You Consider?

No worries Tony.. I'm probably a bit kit-car sensitive. Exhilarating indeed.. nothing like a FGT for outright performance, but the sound and feel of them is pretty incredible. My 347 stroker dyno'd at 480hp and I can honestly say that it's right on the edge of 'too much'.

So What Other Cars Did You Consider?

Actually, that's not correct. Factory Five kits are provided with a new birdcage over tube chassis with a ton of era-exceeding triangulation.. Under no circumstances is there an option to build a FFR car (roadster) on a donor 'frame'. Re the 'donor' parts. Some have them, some have none...

New Guy, Looking Around for a New Toy

Lot's of GT's in your neck of the woods. Your price point is in the ballpark - depending on color. As you've no doubt read, these cars are more $ to color sensitive than nearly any other. Good luck hunting - it's an amazing car that will make pale most other 'sports' car driving...

Ford GT's at Shift Sector Airstrip Attack 2

I know the owner of the UGR car.. he's a very seasoned driver.... said it was a very slick surface - at least for cars at his power level (1200whp+) Update: Saw UGR car last night.. no damage, no broken wheel - just dirty.

Hello from Oklahoma! New FGT owner

A high quality (ie Bend Pak or Mohawk) scissor lift should be perfectly safe for your GT. Watch the cheap Chinese knockoffs.. they look the same - they are not the same. I'd had mine for several years and have every type of vehicle on it, including my 5200lb X5's. Old pics of my '69 and Z...

can't beleive my whipple 3.4 feels slow

It is a lot!, but as my buddy Eric (who owns a UGR TT Stage 3 Gallardo SL - 1250whp) kindly reminds me after spanking my GT on his pump-gas setting of 800whp, there's always someone faster. LOL. You're probably in pretty good shape unless you happen upon an 'R' package like Mullet has.

can't beleive my whipple 3.4 feels slow

    My car has a 2.7" pulley + FR exhaust + Torrie's tune. Put down 639whp - which I round up to 640whp :)

Accufab Air Inlet Support - New in box - $110 shipped

Bought this from Accufab - cancelled that order because Cooltech had same item and was already shipping me some other items. Both items arrived, so...I have two and need one. Paid $129+$12 shipping and $119+$10 shipping respectively. Still in box. $110 shipped - anywhere in contiguous U.S...

Yellow check engine light on - running rough. Ideas?

Thanks Torrie. Perhaps. Per the advice of the guys above, I checked the battery connections. The positive was fairly loose. Tightened and took a short drive. No stumble. Fingers crossed. That issue potentially fixed, it appears my power steering pump is going/gone. Whining and...
