    Gates heat shrink hose clamps

Thanks for the feedback. I bought a 1960 Austin Healey that I'm re-doing the hoses on and would like to dress it up some without introducing any problems. I like the constant tension clamps and will probably go with those. John

Mercedes W196 F1 Racer sells for $31 MILLION

Certainly art has had more upside in ridiculous resale, but I still would spend my money on what is really important to me. Mechanical art. :biggrin We have a house in Santa Fe New Mexico and there is certainly plenty of art to spend your money on, but for me it's a conversation piece in the...

Mercedes W196 F1 Racer sells for $31 MILLION

While painting and art in general can bring satisfaction, with a car as fine as this you can always find something else to marvel at. Just open the bonnet. John

Want To Add NSX To My Collection

Yep and if you look over my avatar it say's Ex GT owner. At 64 and multiple knee injuries I'm buying easier entry exit vehicles. Have a couple of Ferrari's and a Audi R8 Spyder. The Ferrari's might go next except their older models. :lol John PS. Don't get me wrong I love the NSX, to me it is...

Want To Add NSX To My Collection

I really like the Nsx's having owned 2. My present one is a 91 that I've invested over 60k in which includes supercharger, intercooler, new 6 speed, clutch, brembo brakes, etc, etc, etc. Also full engine upgrade and rebuild by SOS. Dyno'd at 426 hp. The thing is a rocket ship! But alas I'm...

Do u SoCal guys drive the GT on 405?

Wifey told me something I guess I never new. The odd number interstates run north and south and the even number run east and west. I know I live a sheltered life. When I was going to school there in the late 60's early 70's thing were much less crowded. John

    Another one graduates

My son works for Dodge (sorry) and he can't drive a stick either. I brought my R8 Spyder in today for an inspection and the young guy doing it said "is it a stick shift or automatic", I said "yes". He looked at me and said "stick or automatic, cause I can't drive a stick". I told him he wouldn't...
