    FMV for 1993 Cobra?

I think checking with the svt cobra mustang forum would yield similar results that we could provide for ford gt fmv. http://www.svtcobraclub.com/mainpage.html Pete S.

    Virgina International Raceway in October!

I haven't got a clue what the times are. I know that Mike (xraycook) chewed up the group in the intermediate group last time we were there together, and when he slightly backed off so I could tailgate for about 7 laps, I learned quite a bit. He and Jim S., who is already signed up, have...

    Can't find GT JOEY.

It must have been strong worded as the soft-soaped opinions, which I find really amusing and hope never get banned, continue. Well, the good news is that I can disregard Dino post, I hope. Stu, I got to do a driveby of your territory as I took 84 from Sturbridge to Port Jervis after a few days...

    Virgina International Raceway in October!

The time fast approaches for the next “big time” track event at Virginia International Raceway put on by the SVT Cobra Mustang Club (SCMC). There will definitely be 3 FGT’s attending as I look at who is already signed on, and this is the full 3.7 mile course with the amazingly long back...

    09 09 09 At Summit Point

Had a fantastic time on the big track at Summit Point, West Virginia with Mike from PA and Rich from VA. Phil showed up a big late with his '06, and the weather couldn't have been better as it rained all around us but never a drop on the track. Have to thank Rich for reminding me of this event...

We had a great weekend at GTJoeys

Yes, there is a way to make the photos smaller; but as I age, I get lazy. The next best thing would be to save them onto your system and re-size as you choose. I'll work on the smaller size the next go around and 'clicking' smaller image will pull in the full size. Hope you all have fun down...

We had a great weekend at GTJoeys

Joey & Ellen, thanks for allowing me onto your island 3 years in a row. Non-stop fun and food. The weather might have been better but I think the condition of the roads won't change any time soon. Great seeing everyone again! Here are about 57 photos from the event: ( a couple highlighting the...

New GT Saver Jack Adapters Pair for sale with case

I have had mine for years, but only started using them when another FGT owner made me a great deal on his lift, scissors type. I don't know if this has already been mentioned before but I found the easiest way to use them was to wrap the "nipple" section with a few turns of blue tape and that...

How to clean -track rubber of "clear bra" ??

I've been using WD 40 to clean off the painted surfaces, and there are also spray application products to use before tracking, but I have not given those a chance, yet. Pete S.

The HERO camera is fairly inexpensive http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cZlFvSI2xqk Not so great in the sound. Pete S.

Would you be comfortable losing 2" of Tire diameter?

And I suppose on a smaller radius the heat will increase as the same given spot on the tire will be in contact with the road more often; though this could be compensated for with different tire compounds. I think one of the GT Guy's would know best. Pete S.

    2010 Targa Canada -West

B-O-R-I-N-G. Just like bracket racing at the drags...guaranteed mediocrity. Just MHO. Well, for the average guy that enjoys blasting down the quarter or eigth mile every weekend, or every other weekend, at a local level, or regional, it is the only method to level the playing field and...

    The Colonial Challenge Cup, 09/09/09

I just wanted to throw this out here as we may have at least 5 Ford GT's attend this "Charity" event run similar to the SCMC events I have attended, and enjoyed. One plus to this event is that during the luch break several folks line up their cars on the grid and instructors or professionals...

    Great Track Day at Thunderbolt

I finally got around to organizing the 1,003 or so photos taken at the event by Captain Dave, and they can be selected here: http://home.comcast.net/~petraathome/CAPNDAVLNKS.htm . Pete S.

    Dead battery, locked out, emergency

The dead battery experience has not happened to every FGT out there. Though a close freind left the key on overnight and that did drain the battery. I have had no battery issues driving mine home 9/05/05 and rarely use the 'aftermarket' tender. Just about 23,000 miles and no worries, except for...

    Washing the GT

I don't believe there is anything preventing the entire engine from being washed then dried off with a leaf blower. Of course removal of the under engine covers first to give the water somewhere to go. No water on engine; cover it with plastic and close the clamshell. Pete S.

"Long" The removal of the OEM muffler w/o removing the clamshell

So, after having the X-pipe in the car for a while, I had decided the noise was more than I cared for. Virtually impossible to carry on a conversation in the car, unless my passenger and I had hemets on with the wired mic hookup, and could no longer hear the tires break loose or the...

Joey, my good friend. You really need to come out to a track day. The reward is the enjoyment. Happy birthday to your son. Pete S.

    Great Track Day at Thunderbolt

Okay Jeff, 3 small clips from NJMP. In the first I follow a friends Mustang that seems to have a smooth line. The second I am giving a ride to an SAAC Photographer, and Pilot. The third on my final session we noticed the front left tire showing wear to the cord, still, I was able to get a few...
