McIntosh Amp Fan Noise ....replacement available ?

Who needs a sound system in that car? Keep it for resale, but just pull the fuse. Might be possible, that you need a new (louder) exhaust system. Don't think that I've ever turned on the system in that car other then to see if it actually worked. My Best, Mark

My new delivery mileage Ford GT

Color doesn't matter in "fastest". We should try torque and HP! Seriously, this is the best place. All stay safe. Best, Mark

    ABS Light

A good thought, but in this case, tire size is unlikely to be the problem. Hope that you get it worked out soon. Best, mark

    Normal driving gear/RPM?

I would think that going 70-80 MPH on the highway, is what 6th gear is made for. Reduces wear and tear on components, and increases fuel mileage. Depending on your exhaust choice, you might even be able to have a conversation in the cabin! Enjoy, Mark

2006 Ford GT Oilpump and Serpentine Belts

Difficult question. Replace a 15 year old used belt, with a 10 year old stored belt. I confess, that I don't have an answer for this one. Would leave this question to the people who work on these cars all of the time, M

Small hydraulic fluid leak from aero flap mechanism

Spend that much money on a car, and have to buy cardboard as well! I wonder.................? M

2006 Ford GT Oilpump and Serpentine Belts

Obviously, if the oil pump belt fails, it will be just as fatal as a cam belt failure. Regardless of use or non use, that belt has aged. I would suggest that it would be prudent to source it from wherever you can, and replace it. Seems like cheap insurance! Mark

2006 Ford GT Oilpump and Serpentine Belts

If its the original oil pump belt, it should be changed regardless of mileage. In this case, "age" matters! Best, Mark

    Handling at the limit?

I agree with Specracer. It's still an analog car, No computer shit to save you. It's the "old days", push the limit and find the results. Wish you the best. Stay safe! My Best, Mark
