Need help disabling the "door ajar" alarm in '06 GT.

I have the same problem. I have tried the above without success. Is there a way to check if the switch is faulty.

    Programming Gauge Control Module

It seems unfair to install a new unit with higher mileage than the original mileage. It also drives down the price. Let's say you have a 1k car and put a module with 5k. I have research this and there is no definitive answer except don't do it. I feel the goal would be to reset the odometer to...

I thought you could get behind the gauge panel and pop out the gauge. Who would have thought. What was Ford thinking?

    Replace Vacume Boost Gauge

Have done a search to see how to R/R this gauge. It is pretty busy (gauge not visible) behind the gauge panel. Do you have to remove the gauge panel to remove each gauge? A link would be great. Thanks

Door ajar dash light stays on

I finally figured it out. The problem was the clam shell as many of you had said. What I wasn't doing was when the two sides of the clam shell are latched I need to take the palm of my hand on the clam sell over both latches and push down. I don't here a click (that already happened when the...

    Burned Through Clear?

I was using Meguirs 100. It really bites and you need to be careful (unlike me). The job goes fast. You need to practice. Work in an area that is not visable to practice. If you want more tips just ask.

    Burned Through Clear?

I’m so sorry for the delay. As every one said I burned through the clear coat. The section was repainted. Labor and materials aren’t t cheap. Very expensive fix for a stupid mistake. Won’t happen again ( it better not).

    Burned Through Clear?

Not to drag this though the mud but what I also learned is that with a smaller disc it doesn't take long for a small pad to become encapsulated in paint residue and abrasive. Once it locks into place there is little to no shifting or rolling of hard particles. So if the speed is relatively high...

    Burned Through Clear?

Jaxgt, Having licked my wounds it's not that big a deal. I've been detailing for a long time and know about burning through the paint. Always thought I was too good at it to have it happen to me. Point is when working on cars sh%#*t happens.
