I was impressed with myself when I R/R the center console. This jod, I don't know.

I thought you could get behind the gauge panel and pop out the gauge. Who would have thought. What was Ford thinking?

Have done a search to see how to R/R this gauge. It is pretty busy (gauge not visible) behind the gauge panel. Do you have to remove the gauge panel to remove each gauge? A link would be great. Thanks

I found the problem. I have a broken switch by the left clam shell latch. But I can’t see how to remove it. Can someone help me out?

Last I checked these buggers are still available, I think a dime a piece.

I was using Meguirs 100. It really bites and you need to be careful (unlike me). The job goes fast. You need to practice. Work in an area that is not visable to practice. If you want more tips just ask.

I’m so sorry for the delay. As every one said I burned through the clear coat. The section was repainted. Labor and materials aren’t t cheap. Very expensive fix for a stupid mistake. Won’t happen again ( it better not).

Jaxgt, Having licked my wounds it's not that big a deal. I've been detailing for a long time and know about burning through the paint. Always thought I was too good at it to have it happen to me. Point is when working on cars sh%#*t happens.
