My GT has a classic (I think no longer available) Heffner H-pipe...and I LOVE it! My understanding GTGuys X-pipe is the modern equivalent of sound.

My 1991 NSX (supercharged) is a blast to drive.

Can anyone recommend a Company/Service that they have first-hand experience with? My wife and I are looking at "exotic car" driving tours in the Alps. We've seen two-person pricing for a single high-end car for 4 days through the Alps for about $10,000/couple OR 5 days with ten different cars...

Even with the clamshell in place a strong/solid crosswind can disrupt the airflow/MAF. This happened to me (once), near the coast, sitting at a stoplight with a consistent on-shore wind at 90 degrees to the GT heading.

Agreed, my GT has his tune (done by the GTGuys) and I did another one for my Buddy's GT. No issues in over 10 years.

Great point, I do think I have a box of takeoff parts and will review what is in there...although I think at least three pulleys in the supercharger graphic are identical.

Hey Kendall, My #13 idler is starting to make a little noise and I think I will get one on order until I do other maintenance. I was just trying to determine if its stock (18 years old) or oversized (when the GTGuys did my pulley/tune 10 years ago) and did not want to distract Rich (or Torrie).

I kind of assumed it was number 13 too.

I am trying to not bother Rich (GTGuys)... Back in 2015 I had the GTGuys do a Pulley/Tune at Carlisle (Ford Nationals). In the discussions, Rich said that they use a larger diameter idler pulley to offset the smaller supercharger pulley and keep the tension/slack/etc... in check. Does anyone...

I will check the areas that you suggest and will use GM Part #12345982 to maximize level. I am pretty sure that although the fluid did not leak out when I loosened/removed the plug, the reservoir was pretty high (and clean) using a toothpick dipstick. I'm pretty sure I'm just being paranoid.

We are at opposite ends of the spectrum (although I have a pulley/tune). Always followed your escapades! Ps-all engine temps stay quite "normal".

I noticed today, after a drive with the engine normally hot and the engine bonnet lifted, I heard (what I feel) is a little more whirrling noise coming from the supercharger while idling the engine in a quite garage. I will admit that I rarely find myself in this hot-engine-idling-bonnet-up...
