So i checked out a car today and need members advices

When I got my 911 turbo (as a daily), the light doors and the aluminum frunk lid felt light / flimsy to me. I guess it’s all a matter of what you’re used to!

Ford GT Rally XIII - Registration

I've had a major flight change (though it gets me in earlier, which is better than too late), notwithstanding the super-early departure from NY. Lots of changes afoot between now and then, I'm sure!

Good news for 2022 owners ?

I spoke with the concierge a few days ago. It is still a carefully guarded secret. That said, the 2021 was revealed a year ago next week. So, hopefully we’ll all know soon!

Trading 05 GT for new Porsche 911 GT3RS Good idea ?

Both great cars. But they’re perennially coming out with GT3s. There aren’t any more 2005-2006 FGTs being produced. I’d keep it the FGT. Or maybe just add a car to the stable, if you’ve got the resources (space, $) to do it.

    Market timing is bad

Somehow, the cars never look cheap. When I bought mine ~ 9 years ago, I was afraid I was paying too much! In hindsight, it now looks cheap. There’s no question that there is asset inflation everywhere, including in collectible autos. That said, given the continuing attraction of analog super...

Where did the cars come from? Are they customers' cars, or were they bought in the aftermarket and converted? Details--we need details!

Any carrera gt owner ? In our ford gt community

Wow--what a sobering tale! I strongly considered a CGT before buying my 2005 FGT. I've never regretted the choice, but after reading about your eye-watering maintenance experience, I'm even MORE grateful for the bulletproof cars we have!

    Recent increase in value?

“Inflation is always and everywhere a monetary phenomenon" - Milton Friedman With the massive amount of government spending (2021 deficit projected to be $3 trillion) and multiple stimulus packages going out, it should be no surprise that we are seeing all these dollars chasing goods that were...

I haven't. Didn't know who would have the laboring oar here. Has some one given the "heads up" to Reliable yet, or is that yet to happen? Kenneth

Hopefully with that plate, you won’t get as many of the inevitable “is it real?” inquiries.

    GT3 Manual

Apparently there’s some rule pending in California that might change that. Hopefully they’ll get around to adopting it. If not, well, there’s always Texas!

Events or experiences in your GT

I agree. And encouragingly, so do some police officers. I was out with my son on a ride and came to a stop at a red light where a policeman was standing. He came up to the passenger window and the conversation went like this: Policeman: Do you know that you have no front plate? Me: Yes...
