O2 bungs and plugs are available from Stainless works and others. I'd weld in a bung up near the Flange and plug the current bung.

I use the Ford Motorcraft oil and put the zinc back in it with ZDDP Max you can buy on Amazon. Use one bottle in 4 quarts of SM oil and you have the original Motorcraft GT oil Walla!

Note: If you F up the cap it's no big deal unless you buy one from ford. At BMW the identical cap is about $22.00. I forget the model of the car but you can take it to the parts guy and he can match it.

I'm in Florida and use 25% antifreeze and water wetter and it works fine. But I don't know if the water wetter is really doing anything.

My 69 428 was Red and had the shaker cobra hood scoop that popped up in a hole in the hood. I've never seen another one or even a picture of one like it in any Mustang books. Somebody has one with a tired 390 in it. Paid $2500 for it in 70. Those were the days.

That is pretty cool. I didn't know the 3.91 axle was called a drag pack. I took a 428CJ out of a 69 and put it in place of my 390 in a 67 and changed the gears from 3.50 to 3.91 and it was a real mover. The crane cam helped a little too. I did not like the 69 very much because it was hot...

I drove mine 11 hours with the seat inserts and it was just fine. Too much entertainment to be noticing the seat.

Furman in Clearwater can do it. Guy named Russ works on GTs but he thinks 3rd gear is first gear. Supervise!

That's interesting.....I think they replaced my driver side unit with one exactly like what was in there...ie the one on the right side of the picture. The left picture is shorter. Hmmmmmmmmmm.

I just blow the water off with an air hose and there are no spots. Works very good for cleaning the engine. Hard water ....no problem! Gets the water off brake calipers too so the rotors don't rust while sitting there wet.
