Video: 2012 Nissan GT-R vs 2005 Ford GT.....

This thread cracks me up... it's like a political debate amongst those who look as them like everything must be a zero-sum situation. There will always be those who feel compelled to compare apples and oranges and declare oranges inferior and orange lovers to be insane or at best posessing...

Probably some deals on wheels at this auction

    Beautiful! What year is that?

Probably some deals on wheels at this auction

Assuming sound mechanical shape, I wonder what that Superformance Cobra might go for? It sure is pretty, and I've read they're "Viper-like" in its driving characteristics (sans cornering agility)--meaning too much power for the weight, and would as soon kill you as kiss you. :-) Looks like...

How do you know when you're getting old? (Air Ordinance SMG 22)

How you know when you're getting old: Your attraction to something ceases to be inversely proportional to its practicality. And, speaking of impractical, but looking like boatloads of fun anyway, meet the Air Ordinance new SMG 22, a fully-automatic .22 caliber pellet gun. 12 rounds per second...

    The Holy Grail Arrived....

Beautiful car. My experience with Shelby and Elite Autos was top-notch as well. The difference is, I have not yet convinced my wife that we really need a second GT or GTX1. :-)

    Interesting perspective

Beautiful. Going to see the launch of a space shuttle was one of my bucket-list items, satisfied about a year ago. Was an incredible, spectacular experience for the entire family. Thanks for posting!

Just bought 2005 midnight blue GT

Congratz -- as a new owner of my first GT, I'm right there with you. ...to the point where I've exclaimed, "This car is a menace to others!" :-) (Semi-seriously, I'm almost afraid someone's going to get hurt because it's not at all uncommon for people to get out of their cars at a stoplight to...

    Great Experience Today

And therein lies the justification for a red GT. I could never allow that on my black one--it'd leave a horrible smudge you could see for miles... :lol

    Great Experience Today

Kudos! What a great idea. Having just had mine out and about a bit today (really for the first time), I've already experienced the "gas station effect." That's fun. What's a bit more alarming is people getting out of their car when you're stopped at a stop light, so they can run up along side...

    Insurance cost and where????

PM sent! (reason below) I also have been with USAA for more than twenty years and have always been happy with them. But finding this thread made me realize that the $900/year they quoted me for "market value" (which does not include mods) is not especially competitive. They could not tell me...

    Is a Heritage worth it?

If I were going to own multiple GTs, my second one would definitely be a Heritage. I didn't realize that until seeing one "in the flesh" (IMHO, more than any of the other colors, pictures don't come close to doing the Heritage justice; I think it's beautiful paint scheme really comes across more...

    My GT finally arrived today!

Congratz on the new GT! I joined the ranks just last week, courtesy of Shelby, too! Couldn't be happier (well, correction, I could be happier if the weather would cooperate with enough sun and dry roads to actually get out and drive my new stealth fighter, but that's not Shelby's fault)!

    Weakness is a provocation.

Absolutely fascinating, thanks for sharing. (and I would *love* to see (read: own) a modern, functional replica of this firearm! Going to have to Google to see if one is made...

OIL NEWS! - you better sit down on this one!!!‏

As long as others will sell their oil at prices our economy can support, the "long game" is to have ours left when others' supplies have run low. It's nice when the strategic long game aligns along the current-day preferences of business people, the government, and environmentalists. Of course...

    GT general information

Thanks for posting this! I'm beginning my long, slow climb from being a GT Newb toward at least being able to talk intelligently about my latest passion/acquisition!

A Must Have for Heritage Owners

Not a heritage owner, but a must-have for me, anyway!
