    Mecum Red Gt Lot F119

I know and I wouldn't have used their choice of words either. Am just the messenger. Auction houses are typically just protecting themselves legally.

    Mecum Red Gt Lot F119

Has to be smog'd to be registered and needs to be driven long enough(possibly 100+ miles) for the OBD system to be cleared. Battery likely died on it at some point in the last 10+yrs its been sitting

    Lambo owner looking for "protection"

Always nice when your car gets some good company. 1st time driving mine in forever a few weeks back and had this luckily park next to me:

    Ford gt @ bj

Prayers needed for a fellow forum member KDO GT

Terrible to hear and hits me really close to home as I had my stroke at a younger age and know the difficulties. Life is too short and I wish him and his family the best! Improvements are very slow but they come.

    Very cool looking GT

I prefer my car with black stripes and optional wheels. That one looks off to me but still nice.

    2006 Black FGT - 9400mi @ Mecum Auction 23 Nov '13

Don't forget, the next GT up for auction is the 2006 yellow GT(4 options/230 miles) at the Motostalgia Auction. This is the one held during the Austin GP. Lot 127 with an auction catalog estimate of 225k-275k. Will be interesting to see how much this one hammers for.

C&C San Jose Saturday Oct 12

Found someone who made a nice HD video of yesterday and posted on youtube. Includes a couple shots of Eds car, most notably at 3:11. My GT at 6:07. Idiot BMW driver almost crashes at the end. Thankfully he's not driving a GT. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7ohB-NfzRoM

Car designer joins FGT ownership ranks

Looks like a Tungstem GT from the video so that would make it a 2006 model.

Reminder: Mecum FGT trends at 6.05PM CST 10/12 (today)

Reserve wasn't even met at 225k which I think is surprising. With buyer's premium, I think ~245 is strong money for that car. Thought reserve would be in the 200-225 range. Next one up for auction is the yellow one in November I think.

    Another WTB FGT Newbie

What is your preferred color if not white or yellow then? Lots of reds available. Love my yellow one but it was hard to find as not many were made and unlikely you'd have to worry about it. With selection so low, seems like price trend is still on the upswing so would focus more on getting...

What parts make sense to buy and hold?

Last Ford GT part I ordered I gave them my VIN and they still got the incorrect part and had to reorder it. Supposedly from a warehouse in TN. No verification that I actually owned the car.

Delivery miles Heritage at mecum auction

There's actually 2 GT's up for auction at Mecum. Don't forget about the no stripe 46-mile Tungsten that will be up on Saturday: http://www.mecum.com/auctions/lot_detail.cfm?LOT_ID=CA0813-161575&entryRow=538 275k-300k estimate, will be curious to see where this one ends up compared to the...

Delivery miles Heritage at mecum auction

The Mclaren F1 has gone from ~1mil initially to over 5+ mil now from the last road car F1 I saw up at auction. Interesting car where the road version is worth more than the racing version.
