correction (sorry) part number for the fuel gage is 4G7Z-9280-AA. ford has no stock in any of the warehouses with no ETA on replenishment.

In need of the factory tach for a customer at a ford dealer. the tachs are on back order right now. anything out there or any leads would be greatly appreciated! just the tach unit by itself or will buy a complete cluster. thanks

I would have to say the insurance company hasn't recently priced out any Ford replacement parts (if ever) and real time (qualified ) labor rates for an FGT. I think I'd put the $4K in a private rainy day FGT fund!

I agree with Tpraceman that it's a marketing ploy. nothing wrong with that but most dealer owners (principals) are pretty smart and those principals who bought GT;s have probably unloaded them at a good price for the profit. I have to think this could be a collection of friends cars especially...
