My air bag (deteriorated cloudy emblem) and std. wheel centers (rusted) were both replaced under warrenty with similarly defective items. Now that I am out of warrenty, both items are as bad as the replaced items. Any ideas ? I can rechome the caps with quality chrome but I do not have any...

If you install the front tow hook in either a vertical or horizontal plane it is apparent that it is very close to the vertical inner wall of the bumper and the typically sized rollback tow hook is precariously close to the painted surface. It is far better to use motorcycle handlebar soft ties...

Mine (appear) to have just broken this am on the drivers side. I pushed the car about an inch and reinstalled the half shaft and drove the 3/4 mile back home @ 1 mph. Is there any update on this problem that I can advise the (unknowing) local dealer about ? Thanks Doc [email protected]

It is along the edges of the top radiator heat exit on both sides.

It should be noted that the 59' was a six cylinder (see 6 cyl aircleaner in shot) with the central mass of the motor narrow and at the longitudinal axis and the impact was completly in the sheet metal only area

I have to agree that the doors in this case are a Bricklin level gimmick unlike the originals that were done by necessity. Also note that the doors extend to the rocker panel and have conventional handles. If the car had the original type sills it would be more appealing as I owned a 54' while...

Not to unnecessarilly parse but... (taking 2006 as an example) Stripe delete when ordered meant "do not install the side stripes". I believe it was possible, therefore to get the top stripes and delete the side stripes. I have a 2006 yellow with no stripes of any form

Actually cars with the most yellow are the rarest of all (no top or side stripes) and yellow body. Total production was 2 or 3 .
