Just in case anyone thinks he's soft on terrorism remember the below......imagine if we did it....... a lot less money spent and a lot more people alive.......and Bin Laden dead
Paul has offered legislation (H.R. 3216) to authorize Bush to issue “letters of marquee and reprisal” to those private citizens or entities that want “to seize outside the geographic boundaries of the United States and its territories the person and property of Osama bin Laden, of any al Qaeda co-conspirator, and of any conspirator with Osama bin Laden and al Qaeda who are responsible for the air piratical aggressions and depredations perpetrated upon the United States of America on September 11, 2001,” or future attacks.
Paul offered this proposal back in October 2001, arguing that it would allow “Congress to authorize the President to specifically target Bin Laden and his associates using non-government armed forces. Since it is nearly impossible for U.S. intelligence teams to get close to Bin Laden, the marque and reprisal approach creates an incentive for people in Afghanistan or elsewhere to turn him over to the [United States].”

If you really want to KEEP most of what you've worked for, the GOP will ALWAYS take less of it. The Dems are the party of major league income redistribution and "Big Brother" micro management of everything. "Tax and spend" is NOT just a catch phrase the GOP attached to 'em. Believe it.

I'm anxious to see the replay. While I agree with a LOT that Bill has to say, talking over someone annoys me, so I don't religiously watch his tv show.

And who said AFTER he won the election - but before the voting machines were even cold: "Uh. Muh fells 'Mericans, I just CAN'T give yuh th' tax cut I promised yuh, kuz those dirty 'Publicans LIED to me...they LIED to me." (???)
And who was it who retroactively retaxed the estates of people who'd died the year before he was elected? (I still don't get how he accomplished THAT one.)

That's a plague on ANY of the 'talking heads" shows. ESPECIALLY WHEN THERE ARE 2 OR 3 GUESTS!!!!! Krymuny.
'Can't tell you how many emails I've sent to various shows pointing out what a pain in the butt that is. You'll never convince me there isn't a way to control those mics and PREVENT that.
I just change the channel on these shows 'til the next segment come up.

I didn't know Ford was the author of that phrase but Bush made it famous. Anyway my point is they all do things that hurt us and help us. Republicans will take your money just as fast as the Democrats. We could argue that they do different things with it but I still think that is based more on the individual than the party.
And the real point was, this is a bad place to talk politics. People get real personal about what they believe in and it is not a good idea to poke fun at it in a public forum (as easy as it may be).
I think they are rolling out the new ½ shaft bolts in December. :bs

White and blue wont work Bony about time to bone up and get a red one. DBK freshly hitched will be looking at mini vans.
Got to have a red car in the mix we need the red white & Blue as our theme
I am thinking of a GT Limo.......Geneddi are your wheels spinning..:smash
I can see it now CNN reporting outside the UN here comes the Mr. VP Bony in the presidential limo GT..notice the open roof design they call it the Stretch GTX-100:usa

Here we go, I agree with you that Republicans will take your money just as fast as the Democrats. The difference is that the Dems don't hide the fact that they are taking our money now to make our lives better with things like infrastructure, better schools . . . . whereas the Reps try to hide the facts with statements like "smaller govt.? what? never been never will be" that they are taking not only your money but that of your future generations to make their own life better and someone else's in some other country. I agree with all forum members who try and explain that the Reps will allow you to keep more of what you've made, and or, will make; more so to those in the higher tax brackets, than the Dems. I know, it's tough to be in the higher tax bracket. Compared to what? Want some cheese . . . ?
