Maintenance schedule

My german version of maintenance schedule requires
an inspection every 5000mls/12month.
I need to know what has to be done on the
5.000/10.000/15.000/20.000 mls inspections.

It`s a little bit disappointing, but I have to state
that in 2005 and beginning of 2006 questions have been answered within hours!!!:frown
 
All I know about off the top of my head is the oil and filter change. The tourguide at Wixom told me about the oil. The owner's manual should have a full list.
 
The service manual has the intervals. I'll check it for you if it doesn't get posted before then.

But from memory, the first couple, at 5K each, are oil and filter. A transaxle oil change comes in at around 25K miles. Oil pump belt (?) at around 3 years.

If you are under 10K miles, there was nothing signficant.

According to the book,

5K Change oil and filter - do multipoint inspection (which means look everything over)

10K Change oil and filter - do multipoint inspection

15K Change oil and filter - do multipoint inspection
Change transaxle lube

20K Change oil and filter - do multipoint inspection

25K Change oil and filter - do multipoint inspection

30K Change oil and filter - do multipoint inspection
Change transaxle lube
carry out the 6 month checks
check supercharger oil fluid level
new air filter
new fuel filter
new oil pump drive belt
inspect brakes (components by name)
inspect steering, suspension, and ball joints
change coolant (3 years or 30K miles)

CHANGE THE OIL PUMP DRIVE BELT IF STORED FOR AN EXTENDED PERIOD OF TIME (3 YEARS).

Only goes to 30K. Maybe that's why Ford did not extend the warranty like the other cars - either they don't plan on it needing anything after that :biggrin or being around :ack
