Test day is underway. Session 1 the Ford GTs were 1-2-3-4. I'd expect BMW/Ferrari/Aston Martin to all get some big time help.

I have a LONG history of attending Indy - it’s now part of my DNA. After two years of LeMans,vapparently I’m hooked on it too! Watching this on TV just even remotely isn’t the same.

Ford - support your race Team and your GT buyers - put the damn deal back together!

I would just add for the benefit of the ‘competitive’ Corvette’ people, you should consider yourselves very fortunate. Year after year, GM ensures it’s Corvette buyers get access to tracks, including Indy. Everywhere I go in Indy for the month of May, it’s all about the Vette. Have to congratulate Mark Reuss on understanding and supporting his buyer demographic. It’s really tough to understand the rationale for the lack of support by Ford.

I always enjoy going to races with Porsche and just Porsche events in general. There's something great about the army of Porsche enthusiasts in their 911s, Caymans, 914s, whatever. You go a race, you will chat with Frank Steffen-Walliser. You will chat with David Donohue. You may have a drink with PCNA's marketing VP (who coincidentally came from Ford). They may put gum in your cake for showing up in an Ecoboost jacket (true story). :lol

You can't even buy a Ford GT team shirt at the Rolex 24, the largest sportscar event in North America, because Ford leaves the decision up to Versacomm, who then decides "meh, it's not worth our time." Random Ford fans ask "Hey man! Where can I get that Ford GT jacket?" "France. And you're going to need a time machine in order to get to 2016." If I hadn't gate crashed the "Mustang" corral with the GT this year, it would have been 4 Mustangs...You know how this works.

Keep sending those pictures!!! My delivery date of J107 got moved back from June 10 to a window of June 17-23. I am hoping for the 17th as I will be at my garage watching the race anyway. You guys have fun in France and keep those cards and letters coming kidee's!!
