That would be my luck to have one delivered and it's rainy & miserable outside. When I picked up my 06 I had 175 miles on it before I got it the garage that afternoon, got pulled over outside of Cuba NM, explained I had just got it and was a little excited, he let me go for the speeding, cited me for not having the insurance card in it, congratulated me on the car and sent me on my way.

It's difficult not driving the car on delivery, but the weather and roads here in Michigan are atrocious and I don't want to damage the amazing paint before its been protected with clear bra. Through my job I have had the opportunity to drive prototypes many times, so I guess that fulfils the immediate need to experience what it's like to drive the GT!

So I probably won't drive the car for a few weeks until it's wrapped and the roads here have been sort of fixed!!

Agreed, I am fortunate to live in an area (Northern NM) where the weather sunny & dry most of the time. We get cold but that's about it. Congrats again, that car is breathtaking !

Quick shots outside before we start polishing it out prior to clear bra. I will reserve comments about how this makes me feel about my lack of carbon a-pillars and stripe. All the carbon looks ridiculously glossy against the black paint. So sick. These pictures may be considered NSFW.

What an amazing job Marc has done on the polishing of my car - it really does look like the paint is a mile deep - I've never seen a black car look so very 'Black' - and the carbon vs black is subtle as well as super sexy - so happy with my choice.



Will I still be so happy mid summer - lets hope so!!
