NO WAY! Whats that saying, the devil you know is better than the one you don't?

Dang! This thread is now 11 months old! I remember reading this before I got my GT and thinking, maybe I shouldn't get one. Forgive me for saying this, but your car is like a rolling cluster-*uck. Any way of lemoning it? I am sure you have ventured down that road already. The dealer better at least take care of those issues that they caused.

I had a dog I really liked one time...until he bit me. I shot his ass and got another one. This one is much nicer.

Sometimes you have to cut your losses.

Abolfaz,
This is one of the first post I read. I concluded if this car creates that kind of in passion in peolpe I know I will be happy with one. Maybe you can get it lemon lawed and get a late "06" they seem to be debugged.. Hope to meet you some day I'm just up the road..

:rofl

For those of you interested in my saga, my car was dropped off last monday, one week and no news...

ugh!

Lost interest in that drama series. A long while back. Sell it or something!

Albo, what's wrong now? Hope it's something simple.

Abol,

Can't you get it lemon-lawed.

Or at the least, Fed-Exed Custom Critical to Saleen for like $2k round trip.

Saleen can do warranty work, and if you print out this entire thread, i am sure they would not want this history out there.

I would imagine they would fix it once, and right

I love the car too much to shit on it like that.

Considering the time and amount of miles I have on my car, I think all GT owners need to know how the car holds up and how the dealer (and ford for that matter) treat people who spent this kind of money on their supercar. At least this time the gave me a loaner while they have the car! Don't get excited I'm driving a Hyundai from Hertz!

Hyundi is an upgrade to the Kia Rio I had.

Needed a shoe horn to get in the damn thing - crowbar to get out!

Defintely a humbling experience.... especially when I stepped on the gas as all it did was make noise and creep up to speed. Probably would have done an easy 25.0s in the 1/4 mile maybe even a 30.......:lol

Mad, you know they go faster if you lose weight!

Don't want to be rude, just avoid this thread. Some of us haven't lost interest. Of course if DBK feels differently he could delete the thread. How would you feel if you were in the jackpot our comrade is, loves the car, but the car has problems?

Absolutely right Bony! This saga could be any one of us. It has been a most helpful and informative thread. Without sounding like a wussy, my feelings go out to Albo for sticking this out. This thread, started by him, really alerted us all to the half-shaft problem and the poor performance of some Ford service facilities.

Mad, you know they go faster if you lose weight!

In another thread Dr. Pikul - at 8:23 PM today you stated "I could make a snide remark, but it is Xmas, and I will restrain myself." - Glad to see your X-mas spirit is finally over scrooge:cheers

And BTW - I do resemble that remark... AND if you haven't driven a Rio, you have to try it. I will never b*tch about a Focus again! :cheers

Now back to the regularly scheduled thread of albofaz........

Thanks bony, thats why I keep posting here regarding my struggle with ford and the dealer. They've already told me that the boost gauge thats much brighter than the other gauges can't be fixed! A boost gauge they replaced while looking for a noise that wasn't from the gauge! I got an email saying theyre going to change the oil pump and maybe the SC as well. At this point after reading everything they've done with my car (if you could stomach it) would you want a car that had been taken apart and put back together so many times?

Now back to the regularly scheduled thread of albofaz........

I really like the HYUNDAI! I can't believe how much car you get for the buck!

What's happing with your engine oil pump that it needs replacing?
