S. Florida GT's & Irma

Be safe Gary!

Hope all my friends are safe! GT's too

Yes, hope too. Nature's power is not to be underestimated, photos of the area look shocking.

Best of luck to Everyone in Florida.

Gentlemen,

This is certainly a tough situation. The thought that in a couple days the roof of your home may depart and end up in a different zip code. As I look around my house and imagine 3 feet of muddy water the result would be unfathomable. If you have a lift in your garage put the GT up on it and get it well off the ground. Batten down the hatches and hope for the best. We will all pray that that damn thing stays well off the East Coast.

Chip

If anyone wants to temporary garage spot in Atlanta, let me know. Happy to squeeze in another GT in need of shelter.

Our thoughts are with you guys. Hoping the worst remains out to sea.

GT and another car on top of the 2 lifts.
Four lower cars as high as I can get them on jackstands.
Thanks for the thoughts!
Best,
Mark

Good luck and stay safer to all my Florida friends...

I have residences in both Naples Florida and Wellington (west of WPB) Florida. It looked originally like it was going to rip up the east coast so I went to Naples and got there and saw the track had swung west and the storm is projected to come in on the west coast between the Everglades and Fort Meyers with Naples in a bullseye with up to a 12 foot storm surge. Got up at 3:00AM today and was back in Wellington before 8:00AM. Traffic was so light it was weird. My best wishes for everyone in the storm's path. Stay safe.

NE Florida will hopefully not be too crazy. If any of you south FL guys are heading north, we have room

Good luck, Florida GT brothers and sisters! Godspeed.

We had a series of half mile runs all around this part of Florida today, sponsored by Tampa Timing.

Sinovac (St. Petersburg) always has to be faster than me (Sarasota). I blame it on the headwind.

I spent Saturday rearranging the cars and jet skis to get all three GT up on lifts.. I had them all outside at one time. It was a good opportunity for a family photo..

My thoughts and prayers go out to all you West Coast and Northern Florida guys

Carroll Shelby wasn't the only chicken farmer/car guy. Hens in their hurricane shelter.

Stay safe Don. I'm regretting saving all those old oak trees next to my house. It looks like the 30 second arborist will be here shortly.

Hey Paul, was going to send you a text and check on you and the family . I hope you guys come out of this thing unscathed. It's 8:30 p.m. and we're still feeling strong winds over here on the East Coast.. . Be safe my friend and report in when you're clear...
