Hey guys, I saw several had their consolidation prizes in Focus RS and GT350s.

I purchased my childhood dream car as my consolation. Maybe it will skyrocket in value and I can trade it on a new FGT one day. It is pretty special and a joy to drive. Pretty slow compared to the GT but a really neat car to drive.

They look great together. Enjoy!

picking up my f40 today after 6 months in the shop, finally get to drive it and see how it compares. Still feeling down, what the hell is wrong with me? Sweet Lambo!

Congrats on your new GT. So proud for all the forum members but have to admit a little pissed of hearing non Ford people getting them. I've got an Excursion and had Explorers and Expeditions and my daughter just got a Focus. As I tell my kids, "Life ain't fair, get use to it".

Nice Diablo convertible. Lamborghinis have something I really like but every time I am thinking about, something stops me from pulling the trigger which means Miura and Countach are no longer an option. Still love seeing them. Enjoy em

I don't think you would do this (I wouldn't) but I'm sure in a few years someone would pay you money and their NFGT for that F40.

I'll field any offers, lol. You may be right, and I'll probably get one someday god willing. I just wanted to build my own, I didnt have the privilege the first time (I was still in college and broke) and this would be my first new car build. I guess never say never, but chances look slim.

Think about that offer :wink

Same for me about the 05-06 cars and I've never done a new car build either. Maybe we can pick up one from the people who got one because it's the newest supercar. (The forum members I doubt will be selling for a LONG time). I'm sure quite a few are going to folks who get the latest greatest Supercar just to move on in a couple years. The big question will be at what cost??

Don't know how long you've had your F40, but that ship sailed for me and afraid the secondary GT market might as well.

Just got it from Japan, feel like I got a deal. I usually hunt for "deals" where I have some downside protection. Car was epic today, so damn fast I can't believe it's 25 years old.image.jpg

Yea..don't feel so bummed about not getting selected... It's like a guy with a Miura bellyaching!! That car will never get old!!

Trust me...I never bellyache when looking at or driving my Miura! Actually found the Miura while hunting for a F40. Both iconic in their own way.
Any guys going to Pebble Beach car week, look me up at the Quail and Concorso Italiano shows.

Same situation here, was too young (broke) for the 05 GT but by 2010 I had saved enough and got one. Also in 2010 I bought a bunch of Ford stock and a Mustang. So my journey as a Ford fanatic began later than others. Hoping some day Ford will give me a chance for the Next rollout of the GT.

I'll be with my lime green machine. Just look for a pack of 30 or so Miura's! I'm up in Fort Worth.

Very nice. How does driving feel ?

I'm not a Ferrari guy, but the F40 is awesome. Yeah, bellyaching on your part would be extremely poor taste. :lol

Congrats, Rob. Diablos probably the only Lamborghini I'd ever consider owning. Did you happen to get this one from Drivers Source here in Houston?
