This morning, brought the GT out bright and early to a local Costa Mesa Supercar gathering at Evan Paul Motorcars.

Lambo Ric (yellow) was kind enough to allow me some extra space so I could get in and out of my car.

Odd, they let rental cars in the show.

Is Legion a rental car company? Or some other car in the gathering?

Wow, really tight parking. If the organizers wont give me enough room to fully open my doors, I just go away. As custodian for this piece of automotive art, showing it is a way of sharing but not at obvious risk to the car. Some of those spaces look tight for a no-rub walk between.

Making spirits bright.

I like to randomly walk around a show and ask the young and old attendees what their favorite car is. Some get it right on the nose without hesitation.

This little guy and his sister were so happy to sit in the car. Their dad even joined in.

I got there early, so I parked in the first row, so no one really walking between my car and the yellow lambo unless they were really into our cars, as it was just a wall behind us.

I only had to catch one swinging leather designer purse, ironically it belonged to my friend. Her boyfriend and I both instinctively grabbed it as it swung forward.

 Déjà vu' all over again...:willy:willy:willy

'Swinging purses (AKA: mini steamer trunks - complete with BUCKLES in many cases), bicycles, baby buggies, key rings on chains, back packs with various objects protruding from them, rambunctious DOGS, and a whole host of other unnecessary hazards make it a crap shoot as to whether or not one's car exits a 'show in the same condition it arrived. :bang

...and yet some people (spectators as well as some fellow car owners) will bellyache if an owner chooses to 'rope off' his car.

Go 'figger'... :skep

Is that why you had the red ropes and stanchions in your driveway, EP?

:)

...along with twin .50 cals...connected to a 'surplus' gunfire control system. :devil
