I was part of the group that did this in 2006. It was a great experience and worth doing once in your life. When I left Le Mans I drove up into the French Alps and down into Italy. From there to Germany. Hit a bunch of racetracks (including the Ring) and the Ferrari, Lamborghini and Porsche factories along the way. In total 11 days driving covering 5,500 miles. I'd highly recommend it.

Already blocked a month off in 2016. Plan on doing much of what you did Gierkink with a few WWII (Normandy, Bastogne etc.) stops added in as well. Can't wait.

Success goes far beyond our expectations.
11 Ford GT are coming from France, 10 from U.K., 3 from Germany, 1 from Belgium, 1 from Switzerland, 2 from Norway.
To answer this, we obtained from the organizers, an enlargement of the space dedicated to our Club. Its capacity is now range from 25 to 30 Ford GT .
Recall that we will have also, a covered and equipped 50 m2 space to welcome you as comfortable as possible.
Also, we are working to organize a bilingual permanent reception service, which will also be responsible for ensuring the safety of our cars.
Recall that during the morning of Saturday, 25 of our Ford GT will turn on the 24 hours circuit.
Unfortunately there is more space available for new subscriptions .
For the gourmet dinner Saturday night, all of our members who made the request, have their reserved place. We are already over 40.
We will soon finalize the menu with great «*Chef star " to be in the kitchen that night.
After their dinner, exclusively for our members, we got the great privilege of access to the VIP
terrace / bar located above the stand. They may attend the unique spectacle of night races.
We are working to enrich the program and make you spend the best weekend possible.
We will keep our members informed .
IMPORTANT : Optional visit of the " Châteaux de la Loire ", Sunday.
Currently, the outline is as follows :
- 9 am : Departure from the hotels to in the direction of one of the most beautiful "Châteaux de la Loire " : Chenonceau. From Le Mans, or the «*Grand Hotel de Solesmes" , or «*Château de la Haye*», the trip takes about 2 hours, including 1 hour 10 on highways .
- Meeting point on the highway.
-11am : Visit of the Château de Chenonceau, with a private guide bilingual English / French.
- 12 : 30 pm : Lunch in the Castle Garden.
- After lunch, departure to 15 minutes drive in the direction of the return, and visit the " Pagoda of Chanteloup " outstanding monument of the early 18th century. Photos of cars at the foot of the monument.
- Then, still on the way back, 40 minutes drive, including 20 minutes on the motorway, to visit the "Gardens of Villandry ", one of the most famous example of French gardens .
- Back to the starting points. (about 1 hour 20 minutes drive mostly on highways ) .
To advance the development of this option, we need to know quickly who is interested.
