"If the Justice Department is successful in recovering money—usually through a settlement—the whistleblower is generally entitled to receive from 15% to 25% of the award.

A study published in the New England Journal of Medicine earlier this year found payouts to whistleblowers have ranged from $100,000 to $42 million per person, with a median recovery of about $3 million. Attorneys' fees however, can eat into that, ranging from 30% to 50%"

Yep me too...

If she is telling the truth, She gave Glaxo several chances to make things right.

Not crazy about her getting 90 million though.

I completely agree with this statement. I agree she should receive some kind ‘reward’ however there should be a cap. 90 million is absurd.

Some of these whistle blowers never work again; others get death threats and have legal bills in 7 figures.

I am all for uncapped; just like class action lawyers

Even after legal fees of 1/3 to 1/2, you don't have to work again.

Unfortunately, we all pay for these uncapped settlements in everything we do and probably will never see a lot of worthwhile ventures because of them. IMHO
