SVT Superfest -- Virginia International Raceway -- May 28-30, 2010

This May, there is another fairly large track event at VIR:

I have not registered yet, still there are 2 FGT's signed on. I expect that my local track buddy, Jim, will bring his quick silver out with me in my red car. I also have a hunch that our beloved Long Islander GT Joey will attend! Perhaps not for the tracking portion of the event, but I expect the show to be quite interesting as well. He is preparing a recently acquired trailer with good torsion setup, e-track, and a winch. (Cannot figure out why everyone wouldn't climb in and out thru the window.) Friday is the "full course" day, Sat & Sun the North course. Hopefully the snow will be melted by then, the rain stay away, and the track will be just right for more seat time.

I am with you on that. Jim's car is ready for a shakedown following his winter work; and I am holding off my winter oil change for a bit longer. Still too much snow and snow melt remains. Maybe you should have your Father bring his nice Ford down to the VIR show, too.
